In past years, in addition to my full-time profession, I also assist the National Association of Basketball Coaches with their Expo and Convention each year. I act as their producer and floor manager coordinating many pre-show, show and post show activities as it relates to their show floor and convention registration activities. As their decorator (supplier) for many years, I learned the ins and outs of their event. Upon acceptance of a new position with Meet Minneapolis, I also accepted a position of floor manager with NABC. In that position, I act as liason between the decorator and the association pre-show, during set-up, throughout the event and at tear down. I help the association to make pre-show decisions related to the the show floor that will help them to sell booth space and sponsorships.

Inner City Youth Athletics provides youth football skills camps, combines, 7 on 7 tournaments and off-season leagues. Through athletic training we also provide mentorship, access to higher education in various forms and other life-skills to young inner city men.

At Hargrove, Inc. as a National Sales Executive I was fortunate to work on association and corporate tradeshows of various sizes, several government summit events, presidential inaugural events and various special events. .

My position is responsible for portfolio tradeshow sales for the City of Minneapolis. Meet Minneapolis, the official convention and visitiors association, primarily sells the city and it's many attractions, hotels and convention facilities to associations, trade organizations, corporate meeting planners and various leisure tour groups. As a group, our convention sales team books upwards of 400,000 room nights for the city each year and assists in keeping our venues and other member organizations at full capacity.In addition, I am responsible for the various trade booths used by our organization. I assist other member of our organization with their needs when attending a trade event taking care of the logistics and details.Lastly, I work with our tradeshow providers to help ensure that working in Minneapolis is easy and profitable for their companies. With knowlege of the city, it's facilities and union and non-union workforce, I help them navigate working in the Midwest.

In the position of sales manager at GES Exposition Services, I worked to sell the general contracting services of GES to meeting planners, associations and corporate groups to provide services in Minneapolis and across the country.
