Since 2010 I have worked with startups with business advisory service to clients, doing business Kenya as well as in other East African countries.While working with clients I focussed in: Assisting in business set up, compliance, process and systems set up and reviews, due diligence, internal controls review and diagnostics. I worked with Twiga foods a mobile business to business supplier of fruits for Kenya vendors as a financial consultant.I worked with a number of hardware manufacturing and supply chain startups (One degree solar and PayGo Energy) that have successfully gone through the design for manufacturing process to products from prototype to commercial roll out. Therefore providing a solid understanding of the challenges of creating a product that is commercially scaleable.I also have worked with a number of companies based in USA, China and Hong kong, this has opened up the understanding of how international business operate and the risks involved in cross border trading.
