In this role, I established a national Academy for Professional Development to provide high-quality learning & development programs for mathematics teachers. I managed a $1.2M+ budget as well as strategic planning, and daily operations. I evaluated industry trends and financial data to provide enhancements to the program. I coordinated programs administrated by LaSIP with a $350K budget to develop the skills of mathematics educators. This included assisting with developing and reforming the standards-based curriculum and training teachers on its implementation. In addition, I coordinated national, state, regional, and local events as well as generating grant proposals, presentations, and articles. Key Contributions:-Applied the newest learning and development technology to enhance teaching of mathematics and science programs.-Procured and distributed quality educational materials, including manuals, to improve the students experience.-Ensured future financial support through developing and presenting regular progress reports.
