Fun fact about me: I love working behind the scenes. When people think about financial institutions, they think about the customer-facing activities. The banker and client interaction, the bank teller counting bills, or the mortgage loan officer helping a family close on a loan for their new home. However, in order for the visible transactions to be successful, it is essential to have efficient and effective back office operations. This is where I excel. Over the past 20+ years, I have built a career in optimizing financial operations and establishing best practices to streamline processes, maintain the integrity of transactions, and foster a seamless client experience. I have leveraged my depth of knowledge in accounting and government standards to ensure operational and regulatory compliance. In my prior role as the Operations Administrator for Seaward Management Investment Advisors, I oversaw a portfolio of $1.4 billion in assets (AUM), ensuring that all accounts were reconciled and there was adequate operations and compliance support. During the COVID pandemic, I have continued to expand my skillset through learning new software that can create efficiencies in managing growing asset portfolios and providing superior customer service in remote work environments.
