I have 9 years of experience working as an ELA teacher in a middle school that includes tasks such as classroom management, building student rapport, sponsoring student groups, and communicating frequently with students, coworkers, and parents. In addition, I have served on several committees that includes technology within the school, adopting textbooks, and organizing curriculum maps for the school district.I am a life-long learner that frequently attends in professional development to become a better teacher in the classroom and to learn new skills to be adaptable in any situation. I also have previous experience as managing a crew, planning events, and creating a schedule for a staff.
