Assist in a third grade classroom. Lead small group instruction in math and language arts to help differentiate instruction. Enrich learning experience for both high and low achieving students.

Developed and taught lessons to six classes of students. Instructed a class of students with majority Individualized Education Programs and differentiated activities for these students. Created lesson plans that were implemented in other sections of the Peace and Justice class.

Worked in many facets as volunteer, paid intern and adult to help coordinate an after-school program for second through sixth graders. Worked with a culturally and racially diverse group of students. Worked cooperatively with parents on both positive and negative issues. Monitored students behavior and instilled discipline.
