Ability to work with/coach between 30 to 120 associates each day. Based production needs (UPH output) with the number of work hours available. Responsible for up to 5 areas of production. Maintained the Labor Management system used for tracking employees efficiency. Worked with Manhattan to track aged orders. Used Scan Data to track orders or missing product. Used COGNOS to determine the amount of product available during any given point in time during the day. Trouble shoot any reasons the production lines stopped moving and called maintenance as needed. Worked with any associate that was having problems with their payroll issues. I made sure our payroll was approved/corrected on a daily basis for accuracy in hours worked/department cost. Worked on process improvements with associates and management.

I was a production Supervisor - responsible for scheduling maintenance and production work. I also worked with QA and managers on developing process improvements for Wellmans Spinning and Staple departments.

I was a full time supervisor in Spinning, the official HR promotion happened August of 2007. I was responsible for up to 17 employees. I kept all files up to date along with any necessary training for each individual under my supervision. Spinning was my main area of expertise but I also had experience with warehouse distribution.Production Operator for the first 8.5 years - qualified in all areas of production in the Spinning department.
