She hired her neighborhood playmates to pull weeds, paying them a penny for every two weeds, garnering Elizabeth a 50 percent profit (you see, Elizabeth’s mother paid her a penny per weed). She was chosen to lead the launch of its UK operations and within 7 years, helped the business grow to over 150 international locations and $100 million in revenue. Elizabeth’s ability to lead rapid growth in multi-location businesses was something she successfully replicated across several companies and industries, including GE, KinderCare Learning Centers, Acelero Learning and Insight Schools. Shrewd InvestorAfter 20 years serving in senior executive roles, Elizabeth co-founded Envista Group, a small private equity vehicle, currently serving as CEO. The firm has acquired and sold several businesses in a range of industries, including one for 7X her investment. Her current portfolio includes NW Women’s Fitness, an all-women’s fitness club that has been serving women since 1945. This business in particular aligns closely with Elizabeth’s personal values of inspiring women to lead full, fit and healthy lives. She is also the owner of five family trampoline parks currently in liquidations due to COVID-19 restrictions.
