Experienced Band Director, Chorus Teacher, Steel Drum Instructor, and Beginner Recorder Instructor, with over 25 years’ experience of working in primary and secondary public music education. A woodwind specialist with over 30 years of private studio teaching experience. Skilled in Composition; Instrumental Performance (woodwind specialist- concentration bass clarinet); Vocal Education (including vocal pedagogy and curriculum development). Strong professional background and a passion for music as a tool for improving our well-being and society as a whole. An active performer/educator with my students at Carnegie Hall and an active musician in the Westport Community Band, The Connecticut Symphonic Winds, and The Sons of Portugal Band. Continuing to update the music curriculum in my local school district is my current focus.
