Going to different venues i.e. hotels, football stadiums, racecourses, music festivals and other hospitality venues for the serving of food and alcoholic beverages. Working on the trains for first scotrail serving hot or cold beverages, light refreshments i.e. sandwiches, crisps, biscuits as well as serving alcohol and taking money.

Checking guests in and out of hotel post any changes to guest’s rooms and informs housekeeping also of any changes. Also if any special needs are required and if any are leaving early or staying longer, check all rooms have been allocated properly, taking any payments and keeping reception area clean and tidy at all times.

Bar person and WaitressAs a bar person/waitress duties included serving food and drink or behind the bar serving drinks to waitresses/ waiters.Also opened and closed up when required to, requisition of reordering stock when low, keeping work area clean and hygienic at all times as well as helping others when required to.

Looking after and training junior crew members and serving customers when needed. Sorting out customer’s complaints or accidents caused by or to customers. Taking responsibility for money and seeing that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained
