I am an Academic Advising professional with over 6 years of experience working in the higher education industry. At the University of North Texas, I am an Academic Counselor for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. I have worked with non-traditional online students at a small liberal arts college, non-traditional students at a large community college, and students at a public 4-year University. I love helping people achieve their academic goals no matter where they come from or where they choose to pursue those goals. I am most passionate working with FTIC and first-generation college students. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Humanities from the University of Southern Maine, and a Master’s Degree in Student Development in Higher Education from the University of Maine. I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Teaching Technical Writing from the University of North Texas.
