At the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, I lead the Marketing Department as Director. The Chamber of Commerce offers advertising opportunities for members, and my primary role was within advertising sales, meeting weekly with clients. I represented the Chamber by co-leading Junior Leadership Florence, a program for high school students. I regularly photographed ribbon cuttings to welcome new businesses to the Chamber.

As a Video Assistant for the Center for Teaching Excellence at UofSC, I edited and uploaded webinars to the CTE's YouTube channel. In addition to monitoring the channel and editing provided content, I filmed and produced promotional videos for events. I regularly communicated with professors to approve content and make changes when needed. When extra hands were needed, I worked event registration tables and assisted the social media assistant in capturing content. When the CTE was in between Office Managers, I assisted at the front desk between classes. My time at the Center for Teaching Excellence gave me a greater appreciation for the professors at my university and those who worked behind the scenes in administration.

As a Lieber Consultant for the University of South Carolina Office of Admissions, I greeted prospective students and families who came into Lieber College to meet with Admissions Counselors. Using LiveChat, I answered questions prospective students had about the university. I effectively set up meetings between counselors and prospective students using Microsoft Teams.

As a telecounselor for the university, I enjoyed connecting with prospective students via cold calls regarding their admissions status, scholarships, and answering questions they may have had about the school. My time in this role was cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic, but was only the beginning for my student career with UofSC.
