Environmental Project Manager
Current• Manage approximately 10 environmental projects for clients such as the New York Department of Environmental Conservation and the New York Department of Health.• Address client needs and objectives including planning, contracting, studying, while ensuring to integrate resilient and sustainable solutions.• Coordinate with multiple internal and external divisions such as project control, EPCI teams, clients, and consultants, ensuring all parties are aligned on scope, budget, and schedule.• Review change orders, project deliverable reports, and invoices throughout to verify accuracy and address obstacles as they arise. • Collaborate with team of 4 to roll out New York environmental specifications and regulations including Executive Order No. 22, the Environmental Bond Act, and Buy Clean Concrete.• Maintain strong relationships with project team and all divisions within the Office of General Services.• Oversee project and consultant teams as they manage the project, conduct research, gather data, map, and analyze. • Communicate effectively, identify, and mitigate risks to assure decisions are made timely to keep projects on schedule and within budget.• Provide suggestions and recommendations to improve projects and processes that will positively impact sustainability related initiatives.
