Responsible for designing and driving a comprehensive strategy for developing first-choice tax advisors, inclusive of technical, industry, global, leadership and advisory skills. I led a team that partnered with the business to assess needs and develop solutions to provide professionals with education opportunities, on-the-job experiences and exposure to SMEs and a supportive community - all to help them do their jobs, prepare for the next role and enhance their careers. Our goal was to create a differentiated talent experience.Accomplishments:• Designed and co-authored a development roadmap for tax associates through managers that outlines skills required at each level to progress to partner in the areas of client relationships, team development, expertise and growth & profitability. Created interactive online roadmap including education, detailed on-the-job experiences and specific ideas for exposure to internal and external experts.• Led effort to design training for 300 professionals in seven service lines in India on firm technology, process and procedures to ensure a successful winter busy season. Contacted less than 90 days in advance and quickly turned around a needs assessment and blended approach solution including comprehensive learning workbooks completed in advance of a week of in-person training consisting of hands-on, technology-centered case studies by U.S. instructors.• Drove digital transformation and the client and talent experience through creation of training curriculums for new tax tools and resources, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. 8-10 projects annually.• Shifted from conference-centric approach to a year-round, curriculum-based approach including all delivery methods.• Orchestrated the redesign and significant expansion of campus hire training during the pandemic, with a focus on the virtual talent experience and building community.
