I am a third year pharmacy student at the Medical University of South Carolina with an interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2021 from Clemson University, where I gained 2 years of research experience studying the efficacy of gold-loaded polymer-based nanoparticles as a replacement for traditional CT imaging contrast agents. Since graduation, I have gained over 3 years of compounding experience at Moss Compounding in Florence, SC and Pitt Street Pharmacy in Mt Pleasant, SC. I have experience with over a dozen non-sterile dosage forms, as well as sterile IM injections. Through MUSC, I enjoy participating in Supplemental Instruction and TA programs, as well as holding positions in local IPhO, Rho Chi, and Phi Delta Chi chapters.
