I graduated with an Associate's degree in Fine Arts from Guilford Technical Community College. I also have a BA in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Spanish from University of North Carolina Greensboro. During college I worked with people of various ages mainly children with intellectual and physical disabilities. I recently worked at a retirement community as concierge and on the side I assisted the event manager with daily and special events. I have discovered I really enjoy working in the elder care community. In the future I would like to conduct activities for assisted living clients. I feel more mental and physical stimulation within their boundaries would perhaps offer a higher quality of life for those in the assisted living community.
