As Chief Marketing Officer I was responsible for bringing J. Henry & Sons Wisconsin Straight Bourbon to market. This included brand development, naming, trade show and sales sheets, customer out-reach and social media marketing. Working with design and marketing consultants, I created packaging, pricing and promotional materials to position our product, bring it to market and continue product development, line extension, event management and paired promotions.

We perform economic impact and business analyses for Wisconsin agricultural firms and industry. The RAI provides scholarship funding, mentoring and advising to undergraduate students in ag econ and ag business management.

Henry Farms LLC is an independent, family-owned fourth generation seed corn and soybean production operation. In 2009, we expanded into value-added production of Wisconsin Straight bourbon. We released our first non-seed product, J. Henry & Sons, Five-year aged, Wisconsin Straight Bourbon in March 2015 and won a gold medal in the aged-bourbons category from the American Distillers Institute! Sales have begun throughout Wisconsin. Now in Illinois and Minnesota too!

Badger AgVest (BAV) was established as an investment fund for agriculture in Wisconsin. BAV bundled funds from rural producers and businesses to support new ag ventures throughout the state.

Managed a $50M portfolio of commodities to hedge and cross hedge risk of agricultural commodity input costs for major food and beverage as well as food service and chain restaurants in partnership with Kraft.

Co-wrote the market analysis of the Madison Opera moving into the Overture Center for the Arts and created diverse focus groups of new generation Opera attendees.

Strengthened the board's role and chaired audit committee, served on hiring and personnel committee responsible for hiring new CEO of merged organization and executive level staff.

Created the international marketing and advertising efforts for all international markets. Designed, printed and distributed product catalogs and videos in seven languages. Developed trade show presence and new markets while growing an international sales territory.

Made over 1000 presentations and worked with multiple channels and media to promote Wisconsin agriculture throughout the state, nation and globally.
