CyArk is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering connections with historic places. CyArk strives to connect new audiences to heritage through digital documentation and the creation of place-based web, mobile and immersive experiences that inspire reflection, conversation and imagination.In this role I am responsible for external relationships, business development and strategic partnerships across corporate and private donors, government organizations and partner NGO’s. I also lead our storytelling initiatives where we develop place-based storytelling experiences for web and mobile as well as immersive applications for Virtual Reality. I engage with diverse audiences to help create more equitable and respectful access to places through digital technologies, in order to lift up new voices and increase understanding of our past and our shared human experience.

Responsible for oversight of Programs, Development, Operations, and Finance. Led the development and implementation of flagship program including engaging strategic partners and securing revenue. Served as organization's Managing Director during leadership change.

Responsible for the expansion of organization through new partnerships, the establishment of a European charity, and an international advisory council. Expanded programmatic work to include sites on 7 continents and expanded training and educational opportunities to include education of high school students in 3D technologies.

Orchestrated major exposure for organization through features in National Geographic and TED talk for founder. Responsible for major government partnerships including US National Park Service, Parks Canada and Historic Scotland.

Responsible for the execution of projects across Africa, Europe, Middle East, and North and South America; responsible for the launch of a new organizational website for the online publication of resulting data. Led development of first strategic plan for organization and obtained 501c3 status for organization as an independent entity

Responsible for preforming fieldwork and training at world heritage sites in the US and Latin America. Developed organization’s K-12 educational program to connect teachers with 3D cultural content for use in the classroom

Instructor and internship coordinator responsible for development of new internship program at UC Berkeley resulting in a partnership between university, NGO and commercial partners.
