CurrentMy primary roles is to serve as a Biostatistician for the Department of Preventive Medicine. I am experienced with helping investigators with NIH and foundation grant submissions. I help to summarize preliminary studies for the grants, assist investigators with trial design, perform power calculations, and develop statistical analysis and data safety monitoring plans . I conduct statistical analyses for publications and presentations of behavioral clinical trials, epidemiology studies, and EMR data. I have years of experience with cross sectional, longitudinal and time to event analyses. I am a strong SAS programmer. I am skilled at using macros and arrays to manipulate data SAS. In 2017 I also began working with Rush's Center for Community Health Equity to evaluate population health programs at Rush. I was the administrative head of the Data Management Center (DMC) for the Department of Preventive Medicine July2008 -Jan 2020. The DMC is comprised of biostatisticians, data coordinators, computer programmers, and research assistants. We manage and analyses the data for the behavioral clinical trials. Change in duties came with departmental restructuring.
