CurrentAs a successful Project Controls Executive, planner, scheduler and consultant, I help yard develop project monitoring tools (both cost and schedule), for this aspect of the project which is worth about ~$150 million of the total $9 Billion project. This project changed from a fast pace schedule driven project, to cost driven project, which presented many challenges. Duties included all aspect of project controls from reviewing and approving invoices, field changes revisions, commitment or contract values changes, to auditing and reviewing monthly progress reporting plus publishing a weekly comprehensive status report including safety, quality, work accomplished and planned, progress, staffing, and productivity curves, engineering and materials status, detailed production data, module schedule and progress status. Scheduling was another aspect with challenges. From ensuring that the modules were delivered in the proper sequence for installation at the site, to coordinating the work at the yard including various tracking systems that were developed for proper earned value measuring and used for trending tools. This was 1 of 4 yards in North America supplying modules to the site.
