Accepted nomination by Faculty of Science committee officers in the Work, Health, and Safety committee with active participation and influence in bimonthly meetings.This leadership position entails responsibility of undergraduate students' work, health, and safety matters, bringing any issues or matters of attention to the board for discussion. This requires proactivity, excellent communication skills, working with fellow undergraduate students as well as committee members and their respective schools, and providing potential solutions for any problems identified.This role is impactful in Faculty of Science decision-making, as the student perspective is paramount to the university and its functioning. Ensuring the health and wellbeing of those at the University of Sydney is crucial for establishing a safe environment for students and staff alike.

Peer mentor and student leader at the University of Sydney.My role as a peer mentor is to make first year undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science feel welcomed and supported in their transition from high school to university. This requires responsibility and commitment to mentees, and providing guidance (either from myself or university services) where needed.This requires good communication skills, both to mentees, other mentors, mentor leaders, and admin, empathy in order to make a meaningful connection with mentees further aiding their transition, and being able to organise meetings with all parties whether that be weekly correspondences and meetings with mentees, planning sessions with mentors, or liaison meetings with admin.

- Customer service both in-person and over the phone- Store directory and welcome for incoming customers- Restocking items from the store reserve- Finding items for customers both on the store floor and in the reserve- Using a scanner and security tag remover- Folding clothes, tidying shelves for both hard and soft goods, returning items to their original shelves- Ability to follow instructions in a retail environment - Ability to work well with customers and co-workers- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced retail environment- Working effectively and communicating with both fellow employees and customers- Checking receipts of purchased items to prevent theft of store stock- Lifting heavy items in store reserves- Looking presentable and maintaining decorum- Answering store phone and helping customers remotely- Using store reserve equipment such as cages, rails, ladders, box cutters, along with handling pallets and boxes/packages- Moving store displays and changing mannequins- Altering positions of store stock and hardware- Putting up shelves and hardware for stock- Stock/inventory management and maintainence

Accepted by selection committee, participation in this exclusive mentorship program helps to grow individual networks within the chemical industry and foster connections with others in the field. This is achieved through the attendance of organised networking events with allocated mentors, who work to involve mentees and further their connections within the industry whilst also maintaining regular correspondences with guidance and advice.

Nominated by the University of Sydney to participate in the Women in STEM Entrepreneurship (WISE) school mentorship program.This program runs for one year and provides opportunities for networking with likeminded peers and learning about careers in the field.The mentorship component is fostered by both AINSE and ANSTO staff members as they work with WISE school participants via scheduled conferences and correspondences.
