Elizabeth Gibbons is an experienced leader in government affairs and education policy and founded BGG Consulting after graduating with a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. Originally from Indianapolis, Elizabeth spent eleven years in Los Angeles and was the External Affairs and Legislative Liaison for the Los Angeles Unified School District, acting as representative to over fifty governmental offices, while monitoring state legislation and gathering crucial feedback from thousands of community stakeholders on the allocation of nearly $1 billion to high-needs students in LA. She previously worked on state level education policy and advocacy in California, was a teacher organizer in New York City, and a third grade special education teacher in the Bronx with Teach For America. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a Master in Education from Lehman College. Beyond education policy, she is passionate about paid parental leave, affordable childcare, and policies that allow women to thrive in the workplace and in their family roles. She cares about faith, political leadership, and racial justice in America.
