Confluvium seeks to put river sharers on equal footing by mapping river data, knowledge and narratives in a visually appealing and easily accessible mapping platform. We pool, analyze and share transboundary river data to tell a more complete story of a shared river. Managed ISO 37120 certification projects with local governments in Canada and the Asia/Pacific Region; developed ISO 37120 certification program process; developed and reviewed definitions and methodologies for urban indicators and other international standards under development; conducted research and analysis for publications and reports.

Coordinated annual reporting of city metrics by local governments in Canada, US, Asia, and Latin America for the Global City Indicators Facility; conducted research and analysis on urban policy issues; drafted reports and research publications for media, academic journals, and general public; managed GCI website; planned and executed events, including the 2014 Global Cities Summit.

Conducted research and assisted in drafting the project's main publications, including IDRC Technical Reports and a Synthesis Report. Corresponded with international partner universities and organizations in Kenya, Mozambique and South Africa. Assisted project coordinator with project management, including project finances and communication (i.e., brochure, website, etc).

Assisted staff with the implementation of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan, including a review of a site alteration by-law template, development of policy and guidance documents, and the development of Voluntary Action Program activities. Coordinated with other ministries, the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and stakeholders on interagency committees and working groups.

Documented research activities related to climate change, water governance and participation with project partner, Umphilo waManzi in Durban, South Africa. Assisted director and consultants with research workshops, funding proposals, and information dissemination, including website development. Collaborated with other project partners (Centre for Civil Society, University of KwaZulu Natal and South Durban Community Environmental Alliance).

Managed contribution agreements and project budgets with Canadian partner organizations for the International Youth Internship Program. Evaluated proposals from Canadian non-governmental organizations, using results-based management frameworks, and gender and environmental assessment criteria. Assisted in program development and design for the Partnerships with Canadians Branch.

Assisted international development officers in the coordination and implementation of the International Youth Internship Program, including correspondence with partners, responding to public inquiry, database management, and evaluations. Assisted the program manager with administrative tasks including travel claims, mailing, editing, and office management.

Created 2-year fundraising and IEC plans for Help Age Ghana to improve its donor profile and institutional knowledge. Developed advocacy materials on the rights of older people for public dissemination. Wrote funding proposals and concept papers and helped organize fundraising and awareness events.
