I am an experienced lecturer in Higher Education with experience in Materials, Project Management, Entrepreneurship and Humanitarian Engineering. Passionate about innovative teaching, diversity in engineering, using engineering to address societal challenges and the mental wellbeing of students and colleagues. I am fully qualified to train people to be mental health first aiders, champions and to be aware of mental health. I have been awarded a National Teaching Fellow for my innovative teaching and have worked for organisations such as the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Department for Education. I volunteer for Guide Dogs and have raised 28 guide dog puppies and have 2 Pets As Therapy dogs.
