Performed growth experiments of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus niger in German Ryegrasspressed juice and quantified citric acid production to study the use of lignocellulose biomass to produce valuable bio-products.

Performed metabolic analyses of E. Coli with prophage HK022 under Dr. Rodney King. Results were presented at the Kentucky Academy of Science 2019 Annual Meeting (1st Place Session Winner) and the 50th Annual Western Kentucky University Student Research Conference.

I cloned and purified zinc finger and transcription activator-like effector proteins. I analyzed these proteins for concentration and purity under Dr. Moon-Soo Kim.
