At the Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, I progressed from a door-to-door canvasser to become the first agency-wide Development Director. I created a full scope of fundraising programs, including a phone-a-thon, direct mail campaigns, foundation and corporate relations programs, special events, and a feasibility study for a capital campaign. I oversaw the development and implementation of the first collaborative fundraising process that guided the organization’s nine health clinics.
