This summer I was in charge of the Leadership Development Program for campers from 9th grade through 12th grade and the CIT program for teenagers who want to work at camp in the future as counselors. As the writer of both of the programs, I led my activities and my training curriculum. Using the knowledge that I have acquired as a staff member who has been promoted from entry-level to senior leadership, I developed two comprehensive programs to work on and for future employees to have a solid foundation for their programs. Through my time at Camp Wesley Woods, I have learned how to lead a group of 30 staff, manage teenagers, and deal with difficult situations with children of all ages.

This store sells responsibly made items, and one of our goals is to help people understand why buying responsibly made goods is important and how much it helps to support local businesses. Responsibilities included opening and closing the store, receiving shipping orders and sending shipping orders, working on displays, building the website and social media connections, and customer service.

I worked with another assistant teacher to facilitate naptime with 3-6 year olds and assisted after school activities for approximately 30 children aged 3-12.

My responsibilities were to provide proper and comprehensive training to new employees and be the leader of my designated shifts.
