About Elizabeth Schill
Greetings, I'm Beth Schill, an ACC Certified Coach and Career Advisor with a passion for disability advocacy within the workplace. My experience as a workforce strategy and planning expert led me to a career examining the intricate dynamics between organizations' talent attraction and retention as well as post-secondary educations' roles in the area of creating the workforces of tomorrow. Throughout my career, I used my expertise to guide diverse teams across a broad spectrum of research projects and initiatives. I learned to blend both quantitative and ethnographic methodologies, and published research on subjects such as federal cybersecurity workforce reform, work-life balance issues, disability management in the workplace, the role of innovation in government and how anthropologists fit into the world of work. Senior Manager, Employer Relations & Industry Advising For Careers In Public Service
As a manager of employer relations at the Cawley Career Education Center, my portfolio includes the government, non-profit and education industries. I work with students and employer to identify career opportunities that match students with roles that fit their values, interests, personality, and skills. I empower students by providing resources designed to foster the development of career management skills that will serve them as competent professionals, including developing and facilitating a myriad of programs and working to connect students with employers to generate internship and full-time opportunities. I also work with employers in my industries to increase their representation on campus with various programs, including on-campus interviewing, job postings, career fairs, networking events, and presentations. I lead cross-campus groups of career services professionals to coordinate activities and share best practices in helping students obtain career opportunities in public service.
