Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Elizabeth Schnur, and I am a future attorney. Currently, I am the Chair of UNA Women at the United Nations Association of Northern New Jersey, as well as a Fellow at America Needs You. I am passionate about personal and professional development, advocacy, social justice/social change, human rights with a concentration on women’s rights and empowerment and children’s rights, mental health, civic engagement, writing, and the arts. My liberal arts education, along with my background and certifications have provided me with a vast view of society and various social issues therein. Moreover, my current role as a Fellow at America Needs You and my prior experience in various mentorship and career development organizations including Tom Ford Beauty x UNA-USA Mentorship Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Pathway Scholars, CollegeLEADS, and I AIM Community have all shaped me both professionally and personally. Witnessing legal circumstances that my mother endured has fostered my passion to help others in a variety of legal niches. Excellent representation is imperative, especially when ambiguities may exist in the legal industry, further complicating matters.
