I serve as the primary point of contact for the company, overseeing daily operations at the studio and managing various communication channels, including emails, phones, and social media messages. My responsibilities extend to coordinating appointments, photo shoots, quoting, invoicing, and scheduling assistants.My role encompasses a diverse spectrum of photography work and planning, ranging from individual studio photo shoots to orchestrating complex photography sessions for approximately 20-30 primary schools throughout the Wellington area. This involves communicating with school admin teams, scheduling, and streamlining the process for a smooth experience. While at the schools, I work with teachers and children, photographing class groups and keeping children engaged. Additionally, I collaborate closely with families for private photography shoots, and commercial clients to ensure the expectations and briefs are met for their photography projects.Over the past few years, I implemented an automated workflow system within the company to streamline the process of sending reminders, updates, and emails to clients. This initiative has not only enhanced customer service but has also afforded me the flexibility to efficiently manage and participate in on-location photography projects, marking a significant advancement for the studio.

As the Senior Account and Project Manager, I engaged daily with multiple high-end retail clients, primarily within the clothing and cosmetics sector, alongside their visual managers. My focus encompassed the coordination of design, printing, and installations for national and international retail image changeovers and product launches, often working within stringent deadlines.Additionally, I liaised with museum curators, designers, fine artists, photographers, and art galleries. My responsibilities involved assisting them in making critical decisions for their exhibitions.Alongside my Project and Account Management roles, I curated content and began managing the company’s social media platforms. This required staying abreast of current events in the art markets, local and international exhibitions, and photography-based workshops throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

As the main digital artist in a portrait photography studio, it was my responsibility that every image looked its best. With over 1000 portrait sessions per year, plus wedding photography, I was relied on to retouch, crop, colour correct and density corrected all images ordered to the professional standard of a high-end studio. Attention to detail was key as there was such a mix of custom sizes and requests per client.I also designed custom image collections for clients to be used as displays in the studios, marketing and promotional material, as well as wedding albums, announcement and holiday cards.

At WHCC, my initial focus was the redesign and rebranding of promotional materials sent to clients. This seamlessly transitioned into the development of trade show displays for photography conventions nationwide, including events like WPPI.Throughout my time there, I held many responsibilities, including client interaction, data entry, packing, and various tasks within the photography lab. My role extended beyond the confines of the lab, as I actively participated in trade shows. During these events, I met and greeted clients and cultivated relationships with new customers.
