I coach new managers on skills needed to become confident, capable and engaged organizational leaders. I work with organizations to develop a new manager playbook focusing on competencies such as cultivating emotional intelligence, giving effective feedback, navigating difficult conversations, managing expectations and building cohesive teams. My career as a management professor, with over twenty years spent teaching and researching in the areas of human resource management, organizational behavior and negotiations, gives me a unique ability to guide individuals in their management transition and help set-up new managers for success.I also work with women at various career stages helping develop self-awareness of their key competencies, craft their leadership style, and advocate for themselves while navigating their career paths. My expertise in this area comes from developing and teaching a highly successful course on women's leadership, participating in various initiatives to advance women in the workplace, and conducting extensive research focused on women's work and career choices. My work serves to enhance women's confidence in their professional selves and helps amplify and underscore the valuable ways women contribute to workforce roles and organizations. Through customized educational programming, individual coaching, and speaking engagements my work supports new manager development and women's leadership initiatives, and I am excited to share my energy and expertise with individuals and organizations looking to evolve and thrive in these areas.
