Provide strategic system analysis of business and user needs; create business cases; document requirements; design solutions; create functional specifications; maintain change documentation; create and execute test plan and test scripts; create and coordinate communications; act as implementation coordination for multi-functional initiatives within assigned business process.

Work as main system administrator for UGAmart, UGA’s SciQuest application. Assist customers with questions; troubleshoot problems. Teach training class for all new system users; create one-on-one user training sessions when necessary. Assist with SciQuest enablements and new supplier integrations. Work closely with technical and managerial staff to develop and improve procedures. Independently create and own projects and initiatives while keeping end users in mind.

Use independent judgment and initiative in the preparation and review of purchase requisitions; prepare bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipment. Administer, negotiate, implement, and review current contracts. Participate in panel interviews for potential procurement staff; prepare recommendations. Prepare monthly and annual accounting report of current and new construction projects and renovations on campus.

Confer with representatives from departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications. Train new procurement assistants in the use of purchasing software. Comply with purchasing rules and regulations of the Board of Regents and the State of Georgia.
