Fierce Network is a mega portal under the Questex brand of digital communities and leading events, and designed to meet the needs of decision makers throughout the global communications industry. As part of the launch team for the new site (April 2024), I brought together the talented teams of Fierce Telecom, Fierce Wireless and Silverlinings to build a powerhouse editorial group focused on breaking news, analysis, research and unique virtual and in-person events. Topics include: data center, automation, fixed and mobile broadband, cloud infrastructure, application modernization, security and more. In 2024, under my oversight, Fierce Network won four Eddie and Ozzie awards for B2B content. I regularly host panels, podcasts, video interviews and emcee industry events, such as TIP's FYUZ.I was also part of the launch team and am currently Editor-in-Chief for Questex's Broadband Nation (April 2024) which works with industry organization TIA to help rebrand the broadband technician profession, attracting a younger and more diverse workforce. The unique program aims to connect job seekers with training opportunities at community colleges and tech institutes, subsequently providing them with career opportunities from across the industry. By helping solve the workforce challenge, high-speed internet access can be delivered quickly, and the industry will be able to replenish and diversify their employee base.In addition, I launched and oversee the new Fierce Network Research arm (June 2024) which delivers industry quantitative and qualitative research on topics, including AI, network automation, private wireless networks and more.As part of my role, I manage a team of eight reporters and work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, event content and the senior leadership teams across Questex brands to deliver high-quality products.
