Elize currently takes responsibility for the Africa and Asia offices ( Cape Town, Mauritius & Singapore) for Institutional Client Services within JTC. With 28 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Elize Botha has directed both retail and institutional distribution teams at some of South Africa's largest financial institutions. Her recent role of Managing Director South Africa at JTC involved the running of the South African operation from a commercial. legislative and operational basis. In her previous role as Managing Director of Old Mutual Unit Trusts, she was responsible for the business on a financial, operational and regulatory basis. Driven to make investing more accessible to all South Africans, Elize is also a strong advocate of female empowerment and supporting women to excel in business. In her private time, she loves reading, attending the theatre, and wine tasting, as well as traveling and she is an avid foodie. Elize holds a strategic leadership qualification from Insead Business School, as well as a BA majoring in Law and an LLB degree, both from the University of Johannesburg.
