I was the Chairperson of Kuching’s first ever Youth Speak Forum, an initiative from the local chapter for AIESEC. This event was a forum that hosted 300 participants that aimed to gather the opinions of the local youth of Kuching, and encourage them to provide solutions to the urban problems that are around them, based on the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I had the responsibility to:• Manage a team of 8 people to create and manage the content and the flow of the entire forum.• Liaise with forum speakers so that both theirs and the forum’s needs• Make critical decisions in ad-hoc situations.• Oversee all operations prior to event day – logistics for delegate transport, food and meal preparations for all delegates, protocol and agenda planning.
