Hello! My name is Ella Fowler, and I am a junior accounting major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Through Rawls, I plan on pursuing my Master of Science in Accounting and obtaining my CPA license while in school. Once I graduate, I intend to move to Fort Worth, TX, and pursue my career as a tax accountant with a public firm.I grew up in Merkel, TX, and was a Merkel Badger until I upgraded to a Red Raider in 2022. Although I was not coordinated enough in sports and was too shy to run for president or treasurer, I graduated as valedictorian of my class which has helped me tremendously in secondary education. Since attending Texas Tech University, I have come out of my shell and have even attended a career fair to talk to potential employers.When I am not studying for my next accounting exam, I enjoy going on walks around my neighborhood (I usually always end up at a Starbucks somehow), playing sudoku to keep my brain fresh, and listening to true crime podcasts. While I am a full-time student at Texas Tech University, I also work part-time at a bakery to help fuel my coffee addiction (and occasionally pay rent).Let's connect!
