A masters student at the University of Nottingham studying Environmental Leadership and Management with an IEMA accreditation.I have been fortunate enough to gain experience with UKCEH, work shadowing on their TREE and PBMS programmes, practicing with electronic microscopes before starting my Biotechnology degree. Since then, I have developed my laboratory skills, becoming confident and comfortable.Focusing on environmental consultancy, particularly climate change mitigation pathway, I worked with the George Vet Group to run a Zero Waste week and achieve their Silver Accreditation Award from the Investors of the Environment. This was achieved in January. I audited their waste, found adaptation and mitigation methods to reduce waste and carbon emissions, and educated their members during the ‘reuse’ themes Zero Waste week.
