As a proactive and passionate fourth-year BSc Marketing and Management student at Newcastle University, I am keen to enhance my expertise, gain practical experience, and further refine my commercial skills. My recent exchange year at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, significantly boosted my independence and confidence by exposing me to diverse cultures and new professional environments. This experience enhanced my teamwork capabilities and broadened my cross cultural competencies through interactions with fellow students and staff while studying and travelling.In addition to studying and travelling, I worked at Cotton On, a multinational retailer. This experience developed my communication skills and adaptability whilst gaining expertise in international retail operations.Balancing part-time work with my studies, I have gained experience in retail, technology and more recently employed within three roles as Student, Business and Study Abroad Ambassadors for Newcastle University and Newcastle University Business School. For the past eight years I have volunteered as a dedicated fundraiser for the Yorkshire Choice Awards, a prestigious charity event held annually supporting Yorkshire based charities.
