As a receptionist for Fairview EyeCare, I scheduled appointments, verified insurance, processed co-pays and purchases. My responsibilities also included Facilitating patient flow between medical and sales teams, creating records for new patients and consolidating/confirming records for established patients.

As a nonfiction subeditor, I proofread and edited nonfiction submissions for grammar and spelling. I ensured submissions adhered to the magazine's style guide and fact checked where necessary.

As Lead Web Editor, I created blogposts, marketing content, news and announcements. I sourced and photoshopped media, tagging stories and maximizing SEO. My team worked together to coordinate content publication between blogs for maximum site traffic. We copy and managed the website’s back-end to fix any errors and maintain site maintenance.

As Editor for Aether & Ichor, an online literary magazine, I oversaw submissions of short stories, coordinated submissions among editors, copyedited accepted submissions, and proofread final drafts. As co-founder, I collaborated with the other founders to format layout, design our site, and manage various social media platforms.

As pet care associate for PetsMart, I took care of the small animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, ensuring they were healthy and in the best condition to be sold to new pet parents. I also assisted with customer service, working the cash register, and other store tasks as needed to support my team members.

As Prose Editor for PublishED, I oversaw prose submissions, reviewed, and selected submissions to recommend for publication in the biannual literary magazine, The Inkwell. Our team of Editors negotiated and came to a consensus on each piece published. Where required, I worked with authors to trim or edit their works to fit the specific guidelines of our publication. I proofread content before layout and together we published and distributed the magazine.

As Cashier at Pie Five, I performed a number of duties such as assisting customers by providing information and resolving their complaints, maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas, completing other general cleaning duties, calculating total payments received during a time period, and reconciling this with total sales.
