I am currently a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am studying Kinesiology and will also be applying to Physician Assistant school. I am very driven, organized, successful, confident, hard-working, willing to learn, coachable, and compassionate. I have spent the last three summers when I am not in school working as a patient care technician at Oral Surgery Associates in Jackson, TN. During this job, I assisted the surgeon in surgeries, did pre-op and post-op patient care, sterilized and set up all of the surgical trays, drew up drugs, and did patient paperwork. I got so much hands-on experience from this job and it inspired me even more to pursue a profession in healthcare. On the side, I have also worked at my local gift shop, Vineyard’s Gifts. I love to be busy and to be challenged. I am looking to gain experience and build my resume for Physician Assistant school.
