I am a junior in the Haslam School of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a business degree in both Economics and Marketing with a concentration in Business Analytics. I have always valued myself as a good communicator, in previous jobs I relied on my ability to talk over the phone as a caller for the University of Tennessee. I was a representative for the University as I communicated with alumni updating them about campus and raising funds for campus initiatives. I have also always been a leader which has led me to some great learning opportunities ranging from not only to the top manager positions in work but also captain on sports teams and leads for fundraising campaigns. I pride myself on being a positive and supportive leader and have been complemented that I work hard for good relationships with all of those around me. Overall, my experiences with customer services, management, and fundraising helped prepare me to pursue a career in business. Creativity that marketing calls for and the financing and economics leaves me open to where I go after college. My career goal after college is to work for a large corporation, where I can work hard and leave my mark while I am there and explore the different areas of a well-established business. Long term I hope to be working for myself in some way, I have also enjoyed the idea of deciding how hard I work, that my abilities and expectations for myself are fully in my hands. Further, I have a passion for helping people, I believe jobs ranging from financial advising assisting people for their future endeavors, fundraising helping a larger cause, even product marketing showing the public the best product for them, all help people in different ways.
