I graduated from Auburn University with honors and a Bachelors of Industrial Design. I have worked in the exhibit design industry at international design houses for the past 10 years. I have designed trade show expositions, corporate interiors, retail displays and consumer products. I have worked with startup companies to Fortune 500 companies. My goal is to produce the best possible design within a given budget and to manage client requirements from inception through completion of the project.As a Design Director, I am responsible for the design and look of the exhibit from initial consultation with the client until the booth is finished and on the show hall floor. During the design process my responsibilities include meeting with the clients to find out their wants and needs and developing the initial design strategy for the exhibit look within a given budget. I produce sketches, develop white models, present initial concepts, make color studies, produce sample boards, make final 3D renderings of videos, and present the final design to the client. I also work with estimating, detailing, purchasingand the shop to maintain the design intent and integrity throughout production. As a design director my role is not about just me, but leading a team of people and encouraging them work to their potential to fulfill the clients and companies goals. I educate myself about the latest trends and ideas through continuing education and research. Other duties that I have been responsible for are company IT director, new product and strategy developer, graphic production assistant, and junior exhibit detailer. As a designer I crave and look forward to new projects and new challenges.
