This position consisted of working with team members at partner parks around the country, importing and analyzing sample data in leading living collections management databases, collaborating with professionals at allied institutions, holding monthly team meetings, and producing a broadly circulated white paper and webinar summarizing the findings of our research with cultural and natural resource professionals within and without the National Park Service.

As a curatorial assistant at the Harvard University Herbaria, I actively contributed to research examining plant distributional changes and the impact of climate change on New England's flora. In this position, I digitized and databased over 200,000 herbaria specimens, assisted with the development of a crowd sourcing platform as well as related conservation research, trained full time employees and student interns, participated in collaborative project meetings, and represented our project at regional conferences.
