Office of Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-OR-03)* Supported the DC office with the administrative tasks of assigning casework, logging voicemails, and reading and coding letters sent by constituents using Fireside software.Compiled weekly press clippings of mentions of the Congressman in multimedia.* Led first drafts of press releases concerning the Bike Caucus’s call for USPS to utilize e-bikes, the Congressman’s statements on the NDAA, descheduling marijuana, and reforming USDA organic label requirements.* Supported legislative staff with background research on various issue areas and transcribed speeches.* Led a mail project that updated reproductive rights form letters sent to constituents with gender-neutral language.

Office of U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR)* Supported the DC office remotely by assisting with operational tasks and logging voicemails and reading and coding letters sent by constituents using IQ software (coded 100-550 letters and voicemails daily).* Created decision memoranda for the PrEP Access and Coverage Act and Abortion is Health Care Everywhere Act and attended Congressional briefings and hearings. Wrote several memoranda pertaining to Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022), Title IX, and the organ procurement and transplantation network for the Healthcare/LGBTQ+/Civil Rights legislative team.* Arranged daily press clippings of mentions of the Senator in multimedia for the Communications team.Wrote first drafts of speeches for the Washington County Kids Gala and the Reforming the Electoral Count Act.

Worked three to four 5.5-hour shifts weekly and contributed to social media marketing by creating 7 Instagram posts (photos and captions). Maintained a hygienic shop, catered to customers' needs, and demonstrated quality work in scooping ice cream and making milkshakes, malts, and ice cream sandwiches. Excelled in customer service and community-building with the surrounding area.
