Currently working at a busy, luxury, iconic cinema in Islington, London. Working as part of a team, delivering a high-quality cinema experience for customers. We rotate between roles each shift: hosting customers, serving and assisting customers, making a variety of drinks and popcorn/snacks at the bar and preparing and cooking a variety of food in the kitchen. Fully barista trained, trained in bartending and trained in kitchen, making food (pizzas, hot dogs and sharing plates) to a high quality, following health and safety procedures. Work on a variety of events that take place at the cinema such as film festivals, short film and music events.

Worked as part of a team visiting addresses, encouraging people to fill in the census and providing support where needed. I acted as a representative for the Office of National Statistics and helped maintain accurate records and kept the public’s information safe. I met people from all walks of life, so l needed plenty of resilience and the confidence to deal with any objections. I was also expected have excellent people skills. I also had to use a smartphone and apps accurately and travel where necessary, as well as adhering to COVID guidelines.

Worked at Fortnum and Mason, a luxury department store in central London, at the busiest time of the year. I worked in the grocery department selling speciality tea, coffee, confectionary, preserves and hampers to customers. I worked in a busy fast-paced environment serving customers on tills, replenishing stock, gift wrapping and packing hampers as well as providing a high-quality customer experience. I attended and contributed to team briefings where the stores sales targets and progress would be reviewed.

Worked as part of a team, at Oliver Bonas, Liverpool Street, a busy station shop selling fashion, jewellery, homeware, and gifts. Provided excellent customer service, understanding customers’ needs and knowing how and when to sell to them. Duties included operating the till and dealing with customer transactions, processing deliveries, replenishing stock, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the store, making sure the store was COVID-19 secure and supporting other stores where needed. Reviewed stores performance relating to targets at end of day and reviewed store best sellers to support sales growth.
