I'm a highly experienced accounting and project management leader with deep expertise in leading accounting teams. I’m also a change agent ensuring deliverables and project initiatives are completed on time and within budget while producing strong business results. Known as the “question asker, clarifier and organizer,” I make sure everyone has what they need to ensure next steps are clear and actionable.I’m all about stepping outside of my comfort zone. It’s what led me to shift from finance and give project management a go. The technical IT projects I’ve worked on helped me grow my experience and knowledge beyond my world of finance and accounting. I thrive when I’m growing my expertise and gaining knowledge on systems integrations, security, and development from both an internal and 3rd party integration perspective. One of the many benefits was getting to know and grow relationships with the technical teams from all the projects. There's nothing more exciting than having the full understanding of the project lifecycle, following the data from its start in a source system to landing in the financial statements. The more technical systems integration projects have been my favorite ones to manage.All in all, focusing on project management has made me a better finance professional. I love my work in Finance, Controllership and Accounting and even more since adding project management to the mix.
