- Work closely with leadership and account teams to assess and qualify meaningful clients and new business opportunities that aligned to our firm's mission and core capability areas- Effectively manage 2-3 active proposals on a monthly basis, leading to wins for clients including the Maryland Health Care Commission, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, National Fish & Wildlife and Energy Foundation, Allegheny County Department of Health Services, and more- Identify, track and effectively manage federal, state, nonprofit and foundation opportunities from initiation, capture, proposal development to submission- Develop a tailored, firm-wide, searchable proposal library to support cross-team collaboration, content development, submission tracking, win/loss reports, pricing metrics, etc.- Create and refine a strategic federal business pipeline, leading outreach communications, working with strategic teaming partners, participating in industry events, attending pre-proposal conferences, coordinating outreach sessions, and more

- Develop process improvements to facilitate business development, capture and proposal activities. Examples include: restructuring the corporate Capture TEAMs site; enabling the team to readily access solicitation docs and collaborate more effectively on strategic bids, streamlining and consolidating the communication of new bid opportunities through daily pipeline recaps; ensuring account leads are consistently updated and informed of new procurements across seven contract vehicles- Design a library of internal resources (e.g., award reports, win/loss assessments, planner boards, bid trackers, etc.) to streamline partner identification, perform competitive analysis, facilitate knowledge management, and improve efficient business processes- Support the redesign of the Official Business Pipeline to improve its functionality and better support account leads; work closely with business executives to mature capture strategies- Contribute to the delivery of 20+ RFI/RFP responses—leading to wins including SPAWAR CSSP VAAT and VA CDI Services (helping to secure the GSA IT-70 vehicle)

- Assume Proposal Manager responsibilities within two months of hire, produce 10+ Government responses, including RFIs, RFPS and RFQs on a timely basis- Coordinate meetings, establish timelines, maintain Proposal Team SharePoint, research and review opportunities working directly with business lead- Manage RFI/RFP responses from outline creation to proposal delivery, develop baseline for all templates, style guides and references- Create Fila Group website using HTML/CSS, create marketing materials, including One-Pagers and Capabilities Statements, aid in the creation and standardization of deliverables for Dept of Education- Develop Quality Assurance (QA) review process for all client deliverables, perform technical reviews, aid in on-boarding/training for new employees- Develop high-quality content for Technical Approach and Past Performance responses to address requirements including Enterprise Architecture, Capital Planning, Agile Application Development, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Business Process Management, etc.- Create compliant and compelling proposals with the proven ability to refine documents, lead interviews with SMEs, generate graphics and process diagrams of proposed solutions, etc.

- Gain comprehensive understanding of RFI/RFP/RFQ requirements, craft customer-focused responses to specific evaluation criteria, contribute 15+ proposals in 4 months of employment, assist in development of new proposal writing process- Design research strategies, create writers guides and templates for proposal team, work directly with SMEs to leverage technical input for proposal development, perform grammar checks in compliance with agency requirements- Engage with technical experts to produce cohesive document, develop graphic ideas, strengthen lines of communication amongst proposal team and leadership- Participate in ITIL training and proposal development workshops with Dr. Robert S. Frey, author of "Successful Proposal Strategies for Small Businesses"

- Transcribe technical terms into digestible language for national audiences, effectively write and edit articles for the University’s Office of Process Innovation, perform market research and lead student group studies, work closely with department supervisors to improve university programs including UMD Study Abroad, UMD Student Transfer, UMD National Student Exchange, etc.- Produce news stories for distribution to UMD and national outlets, lead workshops and focus groups, create mock-ups for the new website design that was later made public

- Write teases, banners and interview questions for LTL show segments using iNews and Velocity PRX, develop rundowns and pitch show ideas for live segments- Handle guest stars, provide hands-on assistance for show preparation, support behind-the-scene production, lead/direct anchors for cues and segment close-outs- Maintain and manage all social media platform (producing 3-5 tweets during live segments) and write and publish articles/recaps for the LTL website

- Receive hands-on training in radio news and podcast reporting during the production of the "Terp Weekly Edition" in cooperation with the campus radio station WMUC- Serve as the broadcast editor, anchor, producer, board operator and writer for an award-winning weekly radio program- Create playlists, generate news stories, research topics, prepare segments, develop marketing material, manage promotionsSkills: broadcast writing, audio editing (Adobe Audition), live radio broadcasting (FM), live podcast broadcasting (Mixlr), basic HTML/Wordpress, social media, line producing (ENPS).

­- Review NBC’s The Voice, highlight key moments, provide insightful commentary.- Contribute 1­2 articles a week to The Baltimore Sun’s website.

- Write and pitch stories for HerCampus.com, act as liaison between writers and editors.- Serve as managing editor for blog section, edit 5­-10 articles a week.

- Pitch story ideas, create blog posts, write 3-4 news stories per week for digital and print audiences, serve as a contributing writer for USA Today’s Life & Entertainment Department - Assist with award shows coverage, create photo galleries, collaborate with content teams

- Write show descriptions, create production reports, research factoids for screen reloads, cut clips, review internal footage, enter program WOO's through PDS, compile weekly reports of competitive premieres, attend pitch meetings, brainstorm ideas for social media outreach.- Learn basics of network production, work closely with production and development teams to understand TLC model, create title treatment for network presentations for executive producers.

- Manage website account, write bi-weekly stories for online publication with topics ranging from innovation, technology, career development, travel, etc., engage with online Biosgraphy community of writers.- Act as the lead editor for 5 student writers, oversee Crowd Chronicle chapter representing the University of Maryland student body.

- Assist academically struggling students develop better reading, writitng and critical thinking skills in grades ranging from elementary to high school. - Prepare lessons, administer tests, help students raise GPAs and improve overall academic performance; focus on test preparations and grammar skills for essays and writing assignments.

- Produce weekly columns in Towson’s student newspaper for online and print publication- Share insightful experiences while studying abroad, provide photography for each article, discuss South Korea’s culture, customs, traditions, etc.

- Write, edit and research stories for online publication, publish 20+ articles for the Expecting Models Agency, The Stork Magazine.- Manage front desk, organize client sheets, work closely with agency founder Liza Elliott-Ramirez, provide assistance during in-studio photo shoots.

- Film, edit and produce videos using high-tech filming equipment for Towerlight website using Final Cut Pro editing software.- Cover events, shows and musical performances throughout campus, conduct interviews, master still videography, etc.
