By night and weekends, I've conducted classes in yoga/yoga therapy over the past fifteen years. Certified and trained in three yoga modalities my preference is working in gentle, restorative and beginner yoga filling the needs of those who have special needs or are beginners. Retiring from the world of direct mail has allowed me to increase my time and energy in the yoga world. Again, I intended to retire but entered a yoga studio as a student and left as the new manager. The Universe (or the Almighty) lead me right to the front door . . . . .again.)Over the years I have provided hundreds of companies with creative solutions to their direct mail marketing efforts and have handled more envelopes, postcards and stamps than anyone else you may know. All poses are done supported by bolsters, blankets and belts so your muscles are reacting in a supported way. It is a complete wind-down. The PNS is responsible for balancing the body and bringing its response system back into equalibrium. Stimulating the PNS helps to lower heart rate, blood pressure; it helps to healthily stimulate the immune system and keep the endocrine system operating healthily.
