With Wooncoöperatie De Warren we have realised 36 sustainable and socially innovative households in the east of Amsterdam. It is the first sustainable self-built living cooperatieve of its kind. We built with as much timber as possible, circular building materials and are energy positive.Since we moved into the building in February 2023, I've been guiding De Warren to become self-organized, and taking care of the social structure.

At the VU I taught a large variety of subjects within the department of Computer Science, such as: Introduction to Data Science, AI & Society, Big Ideas in Computing. Beside that I supervise graduation projects of undergraduate students. As a teacher I've developed course material, taught lectures and seminars and most of all: helped students along in the development of their skills and knowledge.

I first fell in love with Lindy-hop dancing through Swing in Utrecht, and later went back there to teach solo jazz classes, Lindy-hop classes, and train other teachers to teach in the most fun and effective way.

The Utrecht Free Tour is a free 3-hour tour through the old centre of Utrecht, showing and telling the unusual places and stories of this ancient town. I joined them from the get-go and loved learning about the history of my direct environment, while honing my story-telling skills.

Korte Metten was the `juggling duo' consisting of my brother and me. We gave shows and workshops at birthday parties, family reunions, etc. During the summer we taught courses at camping sites and summer camps.
