With 30+ years in the book business, I am a seasoned marketing professional focusing on the areas of children's books, international publishing, graphic novels, and audiobooks. In addition to publicity, I also provide marketing expertise and conference support relating to the children's, library, school, and audiobook markets. Current clients include Red Comet Press, Nosy Crow, Floris Books, Gecko Press, Little Island Books, Diamond Book Distributors, Pajama Press, Inhabit Media, Child's Play, Tiger Tales, NubeOcho, Lantana, Barefoot Books, Cicada Books, Live Oak Media, and What on Earth Books. Volunteer activities include the board of the United States Board on Books for Young People, as well as serving as site director for the Second Harvest Food Bank at my church where we serve about 5000 people each year. Past activities include being the Judging Chair for the Audie Awards administered by the Audio Publishers Association, six years on the Educational Paperback Association board (now EBMA), and six years on the Tennessee Advisory Council for Libraries (TACL).
